He is survived by: his wife Metta Kay Steele; his children, Jude Steele (Christie), John Steele (Pam), Nick Steele, Reverend Joe Steele, Matt Steele (Beth) and Mary Anne Steele; his grandchildren, Brittany (Ben), Hunter, Austin (Katie), Mitchell (Kelly), Logan, Nate (Dani), Taylor, Connor, Drake, John Andrew, Arlo and Ezra; and his sister Sarah Edge. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
