He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray L. Sandefur and Maxine Durnell Sandefur. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sandefur; his daughter Melanie Burns of Daviess County; his grandchildren, Leslie Burns, John Burns and Katelyn Burns; and his great grandchild Vivianne Burns.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
