With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon Patterson (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Patterson and Rosa Lee Adams Patterson; his friend David Cotton; and his sister Cynthia Denise Johnson (Bobby). He is survived by: his sisters, Debra Louise Patterson (Nashville), Rena Lee Patterson, Georgia Lenora Raimey (Robert), Donna Elaine Patterson, Sherry Janelle Patterson and Wilena Gazaway (Damon) of Houston; his uncle Leslie Patterson (Jacqueline) of Nashville; his siblings' children, Shelia, LaTosha, Cassandra, Lamont, Everett, Sherman, Michael, Melvin and Demarco Patterson; and his great-niece Aaliyah "Lee Lee".
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McFarland Funeral Home (1001 W 5th St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fourth Street Baptist Church (821 W 4th St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A committal service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery (1300 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
