He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Justin and Mary Bernice Hood (Hardesty); his daughter Kathy; and his siblings, Bob, Gerald Ray, Charlie, Darrell and Sheila.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann "Cecil" Hood; his children, Tracy Kania, David Hood (Kellie), Mary Ann Schmidt (Eric) and Paul Hood; and his siblings, Jackie Cecil, Linda Hagan, Norma Fulkerson, Debbie Murphy and Sandy Mayfield. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
