He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D. Wilhite and Olivia Leah Davis Wilhite; his former wives, Peggy Wilhite and Shirely Wilhite; his son Joe Wilhite; and his siblings, Gary Wilhite, Anna Louise Robertson, Sue Rock and Phyllis Goodrich.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Wilhite; his children, Miles Wilhite, Susan Settle (Mike) and Sandy Merimee (Mike); his daughter-in-law Paula Wilhite; and his pet J. J.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
