He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie A. Tyler and Virginia R. Hinton Tyler; and his sister Rollie "Lou" Toomey. He is survived by: his wife Donna Tyler; his children, Brian Tyler, Madison Mattingly, Madelyn Tyler and Joshua Tyler (Megan); his grandchildren, Emma and Nolan Tyler; and his sister Susie Locher. He is also survived by four nieces.
