We announce the death of Larry Eugene Adkisson Sr. (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Louis and Mary Lee Adkisson; his grandmother Glenn; his wife Peggy Nan Adkisson; and his children, Glenda Jo Adkisson and Larry "Butch" Adkisson.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Cunningham (Barry); his grandchildren, John Adkisson (Marissa), Carrie Koontz (Jason) and Stacye Cunningham (Mac); his great grandchildren, Taylor Adkisson, Carrie "Madi" Wollin, Delaney Eble (Owen), Sophia and Shelby Koontz; his great great grandchildren, Cylis, Charlotte, Coraline and Cecilia Wollin; his brother Joe Wayne Adkisson (Sandy); and his niece Malea Richard.
