He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Cambron and Ruth Cambron; his sister Phyllis Burdette; his daughter Cyndi Cambron; and his siblings-in-law, Rosalind "Snooks" Walsh, Michael Copeland and Eddie Ford.
He is survived by: his significant other Jane Russell Cambron; his children, Drs and Kim Wells (Bruce) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Russell Wells (Nicole), Lacey August (Jeff), Jordan Strahan (Will), Jessica Whitworth (Elliott), Sarah Cambron and Lauren Cambron; his sisters, Patty Ford of Henderson, Kay Richmond (Scott) of Louisville and Paula Wedding (Avery) of Owensboro; his brother-in-law Robert Walsh of Charleston; and his stepmother Lyndal Cambron of Owensboro.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Rosehill Cemetery (1321 Rose Hill Dr, Owensboro, KY 42303).
