He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester Shaw and Eunice May Shaw of Whitesville; his wife Velma Miller Shaw; and his sisters, Virginia May Shaw, Martha Rose McGrew, Marie Shaw, Louise Shaw Osteen and Mary Ellen Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Lee Shaw (Kristina Elliott Shaw) of Owensboro and Talea Renay Shaw of Richmond; his grandchildren, Davin Lee Shaw (Kate), Diana Lyn Shaw Emerson (Elliott) and Dalton Elliott Shaw; his great grandchild Sutton Lee Shaw; and his brother James Harlan Shaw of Owensboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
