It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena McDowell in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Murphy and Ruth Murphy (Weatherholt); her husband Ronnie F. McDowell; and her brothers, Bert Murphy Jr. and Cecil Murphy.

She is survived by: her sister Ruthie Richardson (George) of Owensboro, KY.
