Lenna Elder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lenna Elder of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Ranson and Edna Ranson (Bus); and her siblings, Paul Ranson, Nicholas Ranson, David Ranson and Mary Sue Bruner.
She is survived by: her husband James Elder; her children, Christianne Elder of Owensboro, KY, Jeannie Elder of Lexington, KY and Gregory Elder of Manassas, VA; her grandchildren, Therese Elder, Luke Stokes, Mary Katherine Elder, Ava Ruth Elder, Abigail Elder and Peter Elder; and her brother Daniel Ranson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of charitable donations of masses for the sick and poor souls.
