She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Martin and Thelma Sapp Martin; her siblings, Clifford Martin and Elsie Harris; her daughter-in-law Janice Payne; and her grandson Brandon Higdon.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Higdon and Connie Griffin (Eric); and her grandchildren, Tonya Reney, Mandy Bretz, Chelsea Howard and Morgan Fischer. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
