It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Glenn of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McCarty and Georgia McCarty; and her brother Francis McCarty. She is survived by: her husband Walter Gene Glenn; her sons, Bobby Glenn (Nickie), Jamie Glenn (Shelly) and Scott Glenn (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Alexandria (Tyler), Jacob (Stevie), Austin (Jacqueline), Nicole (Justin), Jordan (Kelsey), Blake (Marissa) and Logan (Emily); and her siblings, Loraine Hayden (Bob), Patsy Wright (Mike), Larry McCarty, Jr. (Judy), Randy McCarty (Judy), Margie Dowdy and Kenny McCarty (Bonnie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (7925 Hwy 500, Owensboro, KY 42301).
