She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Mattingly and Alice Kemper Mattingly; her daughter Susan Jane Hamilton; and her siblings, Donald Mattingly and Frances Jean Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Brey Sr.; her son Donald'Donnie'Brey Jr. (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Aaron Russelburg (Leah), Cody Russelburg (Jana), Jonathan Brey and Jenna Hall (John); and her great grandchildren, McKinley Russelburg, Peyton Russelburg, Cameron Russelburg and Jase Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
