He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Phelps and Irene Phelps; and his siblings, James Phelps, Gladys Calloway, Louise Bishop and Helen Hinkle.
He is survived by: his wife Rachael Phelps; and his children, Lisa Brandle (Rick), Mike Phelps (Toni) and Brent Phelps. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
