He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen James Murphy and Jane Riley Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Grazyna Murphy; his sister Ann Murphy Kincheloe of Owensboro; his nephews, Dr. Buxton L. Johnson (Tina) of Tomball, TX, Christopher D. Johnson (Cara) of Boise, ID and Stephen M. Johnson (Kim) of Owensboro; and his niece Suzanne G. Martinek of Denver, CO.
