She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Whitmer and T. Lorene Taylor Whitmer; and her sister Deborah Whitmer. She is survived by: her sister Shelley Whitmer Bailey of Barkhamsted, CT; her nephews, Evan Bailey (Nicole) of Barkhamsted, CT and Erick Bailey (Alisha) of Vernon, CT; her great-niece Vera Bailey; and her great-nephew Mateo Bailey. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens (5050 KY-144, Owensboro, KY 42303).
