She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Covetts and Leota Sands; her husband Robert A. McDaniel; and her brothers, Kenneth, Jr., Waitman and Charles Ray Covetts.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce McDaniel (Sheila), Terry McDaniel (Cindy) and Suzanne Cox; and her grandchildren, Cari Bracy (Keith), Julie Emberton (Sean), Heather Brown (Chad), Hillary McDaniel, Jarod McDaniel (Amanda), Tyler Cox, Ashley Cox and Chelsea Cox. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
