He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Estes Brown; his parents, James Mora Brown and Donnie Lee Poole Brown; and his sisters, Lenious Marie Brown Edge, Gwendolyn Wheatley, Magdalene Payne, Ermal Mae Jennings and Hattie Brown (William Lee Brown).
He is survived by: his son Vincent "Mike" Brown (Julie) of Maceo, Kentucky; and his sisters, Rita Brown Herzog and Leatha Brown Miller.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church (609 E 4th St, Owensboro, KY 42303).
