He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Thomas and Pearl Thomas; his grandson Noah Thomas; and his siblings, Jesse Thomas Jr., Hillary Thomas, Jerome Thomas, Bill Thomas, Virginia Raley, Thelma Clark, Ralph Thomas and Marion E. Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thomas; his children, Rick Thomas (Tammie) of Owensboro, Michael Thomas (Valerie) of Owensboro, Mark Thomas of Owensboro, Greg Thomas of Owensboro, Rosalyn Thomas and Rudy Thomas of Owensboro; his siblings, Eddy Thomas, Lynn Thomas (Linda), Rosetta Funsch and Rita Ballard (Jody); and his grandchildren, Casey Hardesty (Ben), David Thomas (Eve), Kevin Thomas (Amy), Eric Thomas (Alyssa), Mandy Elmore (Dakota), Tyler Thomas Jordan (Dani), Erin Roberts (Charleston), Nathan Thomas, Jacob Thomas and Max Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A prayer will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church (609 E 4th St, Owensboro, KY 42303).
