He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Coy and Clara Elizabeth McNulty Coy; his sister Mary Teresa Coy; and his son-in-law Alan Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth O'Neill Coy; his daughters, Elizabeth Adkins (Garry Gard) and Pamela Holcomb (Dale) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Cris Bice (Ashley), Sara Bice (Adam), Barry Adkins and Rachel Adkins; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Horn (Joe) and Charlene Jones (Tom). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (3418 KY-144, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
