He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Nugent Jr. and Helen Krahwinkel Nugent. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Reisz Nugent; his children, Melanie Nugent Mintz (Ofer), Christopher Nugent and Kimberly Nugent Shreve (Samuel); his sister Helen Barr Moss (Bill); and his grandchildren, Ari Mintz, Allie Shreve, Dylan Mintz, Bryant Shreve, Isaac Mintz and Adam Mintz. He is also survived by father to his children and a treasured grandfather to his six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). An entombment was held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5404 Leitchfield Rd, Owensboro, KY 42301).
