It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Dale Roberts of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Roberts and Lucille Reynolds Roberts; his daughter Gloria Roberts; and his grandchildren, Waymon Allen Roberts and Whitlyn Jean Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Melody Ballard Roberts; his children, Misty Roberts, Greg Roberts (Danielle), Kari Johnson (Chris) and Keith Cook (Tabitha); his stepmother Bonnie Roberts; and his siblings, Byron Roberts (Cindy), Randy Roberts (Shelly), Sammy Roberts (Diane) and Paul Roberts (Christine). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
