He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul John and Ava Harl Froehlich; his wife Joan Murphy Froehlich; and his siblings, P. J. Froehlich, Helen Franey, Louise Haynes, Tom Froehlich, Jim Froehlich, Ava Froehlich, Gloria Burcham, Bill Froehlich, June Clark, Shirley Jarboe and Sylvia Heflin.
He is survived by : his children, Jill Hyland (Steve), Amy Mercer (Lee) and Dana Hardesty (Paul); his grandchildren, Kathryn Breed (Connor), Stephen Hyland (Julia), Elizabeth Hyland, Alex Hyland (Catherine), Anne Boarman (John Mark), Will, Mary Kelly, Ava, Ben, Julia Hyland, Luke, Joseph Mercer and Sara Beth Hardesty; and his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Isabelle Breed, Ian, Mary Grace Hyland and Henry Boarman.
