He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Nathan and Julia Bell Wells Long; and his siblings, Janice Hudson, Sharon Eaton and Darrell Long.
He is survived by: his close friend Gay Nell Shadwick; his children, Lisa Hancock of Owensboro, Bryant Long (Tanya) of Hartford and Kevin Long (Cindy) of Utica; his grandchildren, Ethan Long, Claudia Long, Destiny Williamson, Austin Sapp, Bella Long, Nathan Long and Seth Long; his great grandchildren, Harmony Williamson and Axel Shock; his brother Michael Long (Robin) of Sacramento; and his sister-in-law Faye Long of Richmond, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
