He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Harper and Grace Smiley Harper. He is survived by: his children, Frankie Harper (Alisa), Pam Newman (Toby) and Tina Dukes (Jeff). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, and three sisters, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Heartford House.
