She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Utley and Claire Utley; and her grandmother Ina Mae Southwood. She is survived by: her close friends, Judith Nell Riney, Marilyn Conley and Karen Utley; her son Sam Asefa of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Abby Wallace (Al) of Owensboro, Bill Utley (Karen) of Valparaiso, IN and Mark Utley (Angie) of Cincinnati, OH; her siblings' children, Alli Phillips (Ryan) of Owensboro, Megan Utley of Chicago, IL, Sarah Utley of Berlin, Ben Utley of Valparaiso, IN, Belle Cochrane (Tom) of Christchurch, Evin Wallace of Caryville, TN, Shiloh, Maggie and Hank Utley of Cincinnati, OH.; and her great-nephews, Blake, Isaiah Wallace, Thomas, William, Lucas, Benjamin Cochrane and Wilder Phillips.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
