She is survived by: her close friends, Judith Nell Riney, Marilyn Conley and Karen Utley; her son Sam Asefa of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Abby Wallace (Al) of Owensboro, Bill Utley (Karen) of Valparaiso, IN and Mark Utley (Angie) of Cincinnati, OH; her nieces and nephews, Alli Phillips (Ryan) of Owensboro, Megan Utley of Chicago, IL, Sarah Utley of Berlin, Ben Utley of Valparaiso, IN, Belle Cochrane (Tom) of Christchurch, Evin Wallace of Caryville, TN, Shiloh, Maggie and Hank Utley of Cincinnati, OH.; and her great-nephews, Blake, Isaiah Wallace, Thomas, William, Lucas, Benjamin Cochrane and Wilder Phillips.
