It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kaye Mayfield of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Staples; and her former husband Mark Nesmith. She is survived by: her mother Brenda Chinn Evans; her daughter Sarah Petska (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Noah, Kenleigh, Madison, Mackenzie and Rylie; her sister Sheilah Gray (Charles); her niece Brittany; her nephew Alex; her aunt Betty Staples; her close friends, Kathy Grant, Donna Blair and Bojangles; and her grand-kitty Monkey.
