He is survived by: his wife Mary Skaggs Thomas of Lexington, KY; his daughters, Dawn Lambert (Josh) of Owensboro and Gretchen Thomas (Brian Green) of Easton, CT; his grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Emma Lambert, Makinze Lambert, Alex Lambert and Maddy Green; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Seldon Thomas and Kaitlyn Thomas.
