The memory of Shelby Lee Dunn of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Howard Dunn and Margaret Ranburger Dunn; his brother Bernard Allen Dunn; and his foster sister Martha Gayle Whitmer. He is survived by: his wife Rita Pendley Dunn; his children, Victor Dunn (Jane Hardy), Anthony Dunn (Charlotte Kirby), Curtis Dunn (Rebecca Hurm) and Shellie Scott (Wesley); and his sister Peggy Canary (Herbert). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
