He is survived by: his wife Diana Howard Thompson; his daughter Beth Miller (Kurt) of Tiline; his grandchild Ira Eliott Jaffe (Poet Cook) of Lexington; and his pets, Heidi and Sophie. He is also survived by several aunts and cousins.
