With sadness, we share the passing of Sue Carrol Allen Johnstone of Owensboro, Kentucky. Sue, born on October 2, 1940, passed away on May 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian "Ted" Weeks Allen and Susan Jane Mercer Allen; her significant other Lawrence Henry Johnstone Jr.; and her siblings, Charles Raymond Allen, Lucille Robinson and Gladys Pearl Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Johnstone (Karen) of Dallas, Texas and Michelle Adams (Greg Adams) of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Alex Adams (Lydia) of Lexington, Kentucky, Ella Adams of Owensboro, Beck Johnstone of Dallas, Texas and Skylie Johnstone of Dallas, Texas; and her sister Helen Thompson of New Orleans. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
