He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cecil and Irene Cecil; his wife Mary Louise "Easie" Cecil; his siblings, Marion, Martin Cecil, Leona Cecil and Winnie Riney; his grandson Brian Storm; and his great grandchildren, Patrick and Aidan Cecil.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Cecil (Imelda) of West Louisville, KY, John Cecil (Davena) of Owensboro, KY, Carolyn Sue Cecil of St. Louis, MO, Alan Cecil (Karen) of Greenwood, IN, Mary Lou Storm (Bob) of Maceo, KY, Diane Bowers (Tom) of Owensboro, KY. and Dale Cecil (Lisa) of Owensboro, KY.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
