Virgie McDaniel Obituary

Virgie McDaniel, born on March 2, 1934, passed away on September 7, 2026. Virgie leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Butler and Virgie Carter Butler; her husband James McDaniel; and her siblings, Victor Carter, Jr., Mary Elliott, Viginia Brandle and Darrell Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Doug McDaniel, Roger McDaniel (Debbie), Jamie Renfrow (Lee) and Tim McDaniel (Laura); and her sister Monzella Smith. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel (275 Court Square, Hawesville, KY 42348). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
