He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo V. Bowlds and Anna Belle Howard Bowlds; and his siblings, Cecil Bowlds, Rodney Bowlds and Shirley Vanover.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Bowlds; his children, Belinda Weiss (Steven), Tim Bowlds (Allison), Cindy Gunter (Tony) and Yates Lee Roberts (Kim); his grandchildren, April Massey (Jay), Mandy Williams, Timmy Bowlds, Dustin Roberts (Jessica), David Embry, Sarah Offil (Stanley), Mitchell Roberts, Jacob Roberts, Chase Gunter, McKenzie Bolin (Patrick) and Marc Bowlds (Jean); his siblings, Carolyn Dickens (Ronnie), James Bowlds and Billy J. Bowlds (Carolyn); and his pet Jasper. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
