He is survived by: his children, Angela Russ and Shawn Russ; his sister Shirley Russ Cates; his grandchildren, Sydney Ellis Krawiec (Chris), Spencer Russ (Morgan), Brooke Ellis Mattingly (Jared), Alexis Russ Ender (Shawn), Madison Ellis and Brayden Russ (Madison); his great grandchildren, Jackson Russ Ellis, Hudson Keith Mattingly, Juniper Sage Krawiec, Violet Maeve Krawiec, Damian Russ, Sutton Ender, Orry Russ and Sloane Ender; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Yandell, Jr., Mike Russ, Brent Cates, Bruce Cates, Gary Russ, Phil Cecil, Eric Cecil, Vicki Maynard, Helen Russ Ebelhar, Sheri Russ Chandler and Lisa Russ Harenza.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
