He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Kirkman and Florence Francies Kirkman; his former wife Mary Jane Dennison Kirkman; his wife Barbara Clements Kirkman; and his siblings, Bernard, Hubert, Holbert, Bernis Kirkman, Verdie Williams, Vernell Williams and Anna Jean Shock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marnie Kirkman and Joni Beth Sutherland (John); his grandchildren, William Andrew Kirkman, Josie Burden, Janie Sutherland and Coy Sutherland; his great grandchildren, King, Skye, Rain, Oceane and Isabella; and his sister Kathleen Oxford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
