William Sebree Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of William Sebree of Owensboro, Kentucky. William, born on December 18, 1940, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember William for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. William’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Sebree and Martha Smallwood (Frank); his wife Martine Sebree; his children, Frankie Sebree, Terry Epley and Debrorah Burden; and his brother James Smallwood.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Patricia Burden; his brothers, Eddie Smallwood (Vickie) and Darrell Smallwood (Joan); and his niece Judy Westerfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory (519 Locust St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
