He is survived by: his wife Connie Howard; his children, Kim Morrison (Rob) and Scott Prather (Valerie); his grandsons, Adam Gilbert, Aaron Gilbert, Andrew Gilbert, Jordan Prather and Jared Prather; his great grandchildren, Blake, Carson, Adley, Austin, Kelson and Khloe; and his siblings, Don Prather (Judy), Loretta Mason (Ralph) and Charlene Hansche.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McDonald & New Funeral Home (202 N Main, Owenton, KY 40359). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
