It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Billy Gene Yancey of Owenton, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 68, on April 8, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Porter Yancey and Margaret Perkins Yancey; and his brother Daryl Eversole. He is survived by : his wife Charlotte Moore Yancey; his children, Staci Burke (Johnnie) and Wesley Yancey; his sister Janet Wilhoite (Buddy); his grandchildren, Kelsey Reeder (Austin), Blake Burke (Brianna Lancaster), Madison Yancey, Haleigh Yancey and Eli Burke; and his great grandchild Brody Reeder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of friends and extended family.

Memorial Contributions may be made to either Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice or Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
