He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Smith and Leonia Perry Smith; his wife Linda Raisor Smith; his grandchildren, Kelly Marie, Linda Sue, Cody, Beckie and Billy; his sister-in-law Peggy Deese; and his siblings, Ray Smith and Loretta Byrd.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Seminary Street. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McDonald & New Funeral Home (248 W Seminary St, Owenton, KY 40359).
