She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dorsey Brewer and Verna Taulbee Brewer; and her sons, Vernon Townsend Jr. and Dewayne Townsend. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brittany Townsend and Christopher Townsend; her daughters-in-law, Mary Beth Townsend and Rose Townsend; and her great great grandchildren, Skylan Townsend and Elizabeth Lynch.
