She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Massey and Edna Basham Massey; her sister Lorene Massey Craigmyle; her husband Woodford Carlyle Sharer; and her niece Brenda.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Cobb (Bruce) of Owenton, Karen Goss (Lee) of Lexington and Bonnie Sharer of Owenton; her grandchildren, Aaron Cobb (Rachele) of Owenton, Josh Cobb (Dana) of Owenton, Caleb Cobb (Jodi) of Owenton, Melissa Goss of Louisville and Kevin Goss of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Kennedi Hon (Aaron), Guy Cobb, Josiah Cobb, Shayna Cobb, Sydney Cobb, Sam Cobb and Cara Lou Cobb; her great-niece Benita Schiess of Louisville; Richard Godbey and Charlie Schiess.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Funeral Homes (202 N Main, Owenton, KY 40359). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to El Bethel Christian Church.
