She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whittington and Artie Whittington; her husband Edward Stapleton; and her siblings, William Whittington and Mildred Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Stapleton (Vickie) of Owingsville, John Stapleton of Owingsville and Gail Meadows (Robert) of Mount Sterling; her nieces, Connie Sue Willoughby and Darlene Tolliver; her grandchildren, Tiffany Stapleton, Mason Harris (Brooke), Harvey Lee Stapleton and Dalton Barnett; her great grandchildren, Gavin McCarty, Parker Segura, Whren Segura, Eliza Wells and Rex Wells; and her pets, Reesie, Rocky and Max. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Home (121 E Main St, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
