He was predeceased by : his father Chester Stapleton; his wife Mary Vanlandingham; and his brothers, Edward and Elbert Stapleton. He is survived by : his sisters, Joyce Jarrell and Arbia Wells of Owingsville; and his close friends, Jim Hunter and Danny Crawford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
