It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Sorrell (Owingsville, Kentucky), born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Sorrell and Bessie Nealis Sorrell; his grandfather Floyd; the mother of his children Lodema Denton Sorrell; his wife Martha Reed Sorrell; his sons, Dwayne Thomas Sorrell and Edward "Doodle" Sorrell; his brothers, Harold and Russell Sorrell; and his grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Sorrell.

He is survived by : his son Gary Sorrell (Deb) of Sharpsburg; his stepchildren, James Reed (Marsha), Lena Fultz (Roy) and Rita Cummins (Rusty); his daughter-in-law Cheryl Sorrell of Owingsville; his granddaughter Patti Sorrell; his great grandchildren, Tori Perkins, Corbin Sorrell, Gracie Sorrell, Brooklyn Reed and Jaxon Reed; and his great great grandchild Rayanna Perkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
