He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Benton Staton; and his granddaughter Leani Reece Staton. He is survived by: his wife Drucella Otis Staton; his children, Jedediah B. Staton (Ashley Sams), Jessica Staton (Jason Morris) and Daphan Allen of Owingsville; his brother Woodson Lee Staton of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Shawn Allen, Aaron Allen, Camryn Allen, Bryar Staton, Jayger Staton, Bentley Staton and Kinsley Morris; and his great grandchildren, Everlee Carpenter and Natalie Allen.
