He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Welch Richards; his children, Nathan Richards (Aleisha), Jared Richards, Jonathan Sorrell (Angela), Candra Bailey (Sean) and Joannah Richards; and his siblings, John Richards III (Carol), James Richards, Jennifer Clark and Judith Jent (Jamie). He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
