He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Thomas and Ethel Mullins Thomas; his wife Bonnie Lou Sparks Thomas; and his siblings, Bessie Norris, Mary Nettie Smith and William Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Thomas Evans (Lee) of Owingsville; his grandchildren, T. J. Evans (Jessamyn) of Lexington and Kyle "Matt" Matthew Evans of Owingsville; his great grandchildren, Liam and Aedyn; his sister-in-law Kay Thomas; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Anderson (Charles), Beverly Schirmer (Larry), Sandy Harvey (Terry), Loretta Conkright (Tim), Tyrone Smith and John Norris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home (89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Owingsville Cemetery (129 Cemetary St, Owingsville, KY 40360).
