It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Larkin (Owingsville, Kentucky), who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Larkin and Helen Larkin. He is survived by: his wife Jan Simpson Larkin; his children, Kate Larkin of Memphis, TN, Jill Haney (Jeffery Burns) of Mt. Sterling, KY and John Paul Larkin of Preston, KY; his granddaughter Jenna Paige Haney of Mt. Sterling; and his sister Jeanne Reagan (Lowell) of Myrtle Beach, SC..

“Jan, we were saddened to hear that John passed. I didn't know until my Christmas card returned with no forwarding address. My mind goes back to the days when we shared Bible studies at your place, I remember John's laugh and his wanting us to join you and move to Montana to start a community. When I reminded him that GOD said to go into all the world not get away from all the world. He replied, "I don't want to get away from all the world, just 3 and 1/2 million of them.":)luv you, Don & Char”
